According to this &lt;a href="http://buggerall.com.au/blog/state-of-the-australianblogs-osphere-or-the-noisiest-bloggers-in-oz-spring-2006/#comment-1802" rel="nofollow"&gt;admission&lt;/a&gt;, basically all they're doing is counting backlinks on Yahoo.</description>

Agree with your observations that the results are skewed on how backlinks are treated. Yahoo is certainly very liberal in recognising them, which was a key reason why we went down that path.

The list itself and the ordering is prob only worth chuckle value, I was just keen to show the surprising number of local bloggers and the solid hum of activity and chatter that is taking place.
