In more recent news: I’ve dropped to #172, at least according to the BuggerAll’s Noisiest Australian Blogger List, Winter 2007 Edition. According to this admission, basically all they’re doing is counting backlinks on Yahoo.

I agree, how exactly do you go about measuring the “noisiness of a blog”? Are you referring to clutteriness? Spam?

Hey Garth,

Agree with your observations that the results are skewed on how backlinks are treated. Yahoo is certainly very liberal in recognising them, which was a key reason why we went down that path.

The list itself and the ordering is prob only worth chuckle value, I was just keen to show the surprising number of local bloggers and the solid hum of activity and chatter that is taking place.

Mick is abundantly noisier than I am, but has a lower ranking at buggerall. I suspect it’s all those backlinks from the old days.

Canon EOS 400D…my new camera…
